About
Born in Fresno, California in 1973, I grew up in the small farming community of Easton.  I attended American Union Elementary School where I was formally introduced to photography by the annual year book advisor Lynn Scheel in 1987.  I graduated from Washington Union High School in 1992 were I worked on the high school news paper "The Hatchet", and annual year book under the mentorship of Ed Galdrikian.  During my senior year I also began to photograph weddings and shoot photographs of a hotel for a brochure produced by The San Joaquin Hotel in Fresno.  I also began shooting photographs of local events for a community news paper, The Twin City Times.  After graduation I began working for Fotech Color Labs in Fresno, Ca.  I was soon employed full time by Central California Publishing which produced four newspapers including The Twin City Times and Lemoore Advance, all the while attending Fresno City College majoring in Photography and Criminology.
I was employed by Ritz Camera Centers in Fresno in 1995, and in 1997 was hired by Fresno Police Department as a Police Cadet assigned to the Crime Scene Bureau.  In 1998 I was promoted to Crime Scene Technician where I currently train new technicians on the ins and outs of photography and crime scenes.  I was a key player in the establishment of the department’s digital photography program and I am frequently called upon to do special photography assignments including the department annual report, and special project requests by the Chief of Police.  In additon to my work for the Police Department, I also do Paranormal Investigations.  Personally I enjoy shooting everything that comes my way now.  I strive to branch out and flourish in anyway this photographic journey will take me.
